Surprise Elopement at Tredegar House

When Georgia and Gavin let me in on their surprise elopement they were planning on 22nd December I was so SO excited to meet them and capture some photographs after they made it official at the registry office. Because of covid and Wales now being in Tier 4 I wasn't able to capture the ceremony, but that was ok because after they said I do and signed on the dotted line we jumped in the car and made our way to Tredegar House.

Days before the government announced the new lockdown measures for Christmas. There was a tiny concern that this wedding wouldn't happen, but it did. The day was cold and grey but spirits were shining, it didn't matter that there was a spot of rain in the air, Gavin and Georgia were simply so happy that they were able to get married and days after sharing the news with their family and friends, the perfect Christmas surprise.

I can't wait for July 2021 to capture these two celebrating with all their friends and family at The Alverton way down south in Cornwall, Truro. The fairy tale has just began, rain or shine it didn't matter for these two, they were going to say their vows and know-one was going to stop them, not even covid!

Are you considering eloping and celebrating later on? I have SO many testimony's from couples who have no regrets on pulling their ceremony forward and allowing love to conqueror all. This could be you and I would love to capture your wedding. Interested? please get in touch.

I am so pleased to be finishing the year with the celebration of love and doing what I love most. I am so grateful that amongst the chaos I have still been able to work and meet so many incredible couples, families and friends. Merry Christmas everyone, I wish you all the best for 2021. Hold onto hope - its coming!
