Having a base in the Cotswolds, where I grew up, brings me back to the heart of the countryside that I love. I’ve been fortunate to photograph at many stunning countryside venues, including Middleton Lodge, Dewsall Court, Primrose Hill Farm, Caswell House, Ashridge House, Hyde House, Cripps Barn, Old Gore Barn, and Godwick Great Barn.
Having lived in South Wales for five years I have had the pleasure of capturing weddings at some of the region's most beautiful venues, including Sant Ffraed House, Fairy Hill, Milestone Manor, and many more. Throughout the wedding seasons, I’m always discovering new venues. Some I’m eager to photograph at include Kew Gardens, Syon Park, Hedsor House, Kimpton Fitzroy, St Paul's Cathedral, The Ned, Cornwell Manor, Euridge Manor, Kin House, Foxhill Manor, Elmore Court, Brinsop Court, Northbrook Park, Old Marylebone Town Hall, and Chelsea Town Hall.

With a heart rooted in storytelling and a love for nostalgic, fuss-free art, Sam brings a timeless touch to everything he captures. As our go-to videographer and creative partner, he leads the video side of Becky Welford Photography, focusing on soulful, in-between moments. His background as a touring musician and writer gives him a natural sensitivity to rhythm, emotion, and atmosphere. The result is vintage-tinged, cinematic films that feel warm, personal, and beautifully raw.
