As golden hour was escaping Johnny and Yolanda jumped in front of my lens last summer at Yolanda’s brothers wedding. A month or so later an email from Johnny landed in my inbox. We caught up a few days later, their words were “We want you do to exactly what you did for Yolanda’s brothers wedding” and that’s what I did last weekend. Imagine a stunning barn wedding venue set within a beautiful country estate nestled amidst miles of rolling Northamptonshire countryside, all exclusively yours, what a dream it was to photograph this wedding.

 

The venue had hints of modern refurbishment throughout with floor to ceiling windows, allowing natural light to fill the rooms. The Manor had spectacular views and sheep dotted around the fields, this made for a perfect venue for Johnny and Yolanda who love the outdoors and getting out into the wild. The barn was a breathe of fresh air and a nice escape from city life. I do love the buzz of city but the farmers daughter in me can’t help but have any excuse to be surrounded by green. It was so lovely to see Johnny and Yolanda again, this time as the bride and groom and to catch up with their family once again. These two are literally my dream couple, adventures, animal lovers and very down to earth. There even going ski-ing for their honeymoon in Austria which is completely my vibe.
