Some weddings have a certain glow about them—and Sophie & Kory’s day at Dewsall Court was pure radiance from start to finish. Nestled in the Herefordshire countryside, this stunning venue felt like home, but with a little extra magic. It was the kind of wedding where everything aligned: the sunshine, the setting, the people, and that effortless mix of sophistication and fun.
A Wedding Morning Full of Character and Charm
The morning began in Dewsall Court’s main house, where Sophie and her bridesmaids got ready in rooms that felt warm and full of history. There’s something about Dewsall’s interiors—charmingly rustic yet refined, that makes you feel instantly at ease. Sophie wore the Rhode gown by Jenny Yo NYC, sourced from the beautiful boutique Lauren Francis Bridal. Her look was finished with a soft, sophisticated half-up knot styled by Hair & Makeup by Gabby
Her bridesmaids wore fuchsia pink satin dresses from Oasis, a playful and vibrant colour that echoed throughout the day—from morning PJs to the bold floral palette.
Over in the Stables, Kory and his groomsmen got ready in the most relaxed way, suited up in sleek black tie from Suit Supply. The rustic setting only made the contrast more striking—classic elegance meets countryside cool.
A Garden Ceremony Full of Sunshine and Colour
Sophie & Kory exchanged vows on the ceremony lawn, surrounded by the colours of the gardens and floral arrangements by The Petites Fleurs.

Afterwards, guests showered the newlyweds in confetti on the steps of the house before heading into the gardens for drinks. There was this effortless vintage, nostalgic energy, the soft sunlight, the bold summer florals, the clinking of cocktail glasses. It’s in these moments that the photos I took on my film like camera truly came to life. The soft grain, subtle tones, and timeless texture gave these scenes a throwback warmth that digital just can’t replicate. Laughter, cocktails, and heartfelt outdoor speeches filled the garden, and every frame felt like a memory already wrapped in emotion.

Relaxed Portraits with a Touch of Editorial Flair
Later in the afternoon, we stole a moment away to explore the grounds for some couple portraits. My approach is always to keep these sessions relaxed, creative, and authentic, blending gentle direction with room for natural moments. Sophie & Kory brought their own charm and elegance to every frame, they were a dream to photograph.
Dinner, Firepits, and a Golden Hour Glow
Dinner was served in the Dewsall barn, a space that balances rustic architecture with timeless charm. The summer florals from The Petites Fleurs adorned the tables and softened the space, making it feel warm and welcoming. As golden hour arrived, guests made their way back outdoors for s’mores around the firepit, cocktails and conversations flowed as the sun dipped behind the gardens.
